Yesterday Israel defeated Turkey 2-1 at the 1st day of the fed cup event in Eilat.

At the 1st match Julia Glushko (ISR) defeated Pemra Ozgen (TUR) 6-4 6-4.

In the 2nd match, Shahar Peer (ISR) defeated Cagla Buyukakcay (TUR) 1-6 6-1 7-6(3).

In the doubles match Basak Eraydin / Ipek Soylu (TUR) defeated Keren Shlomo / Valeria Patiuk (ISR) 6-1 6-2.
